Reference images in Flir Assetlink

Reference images will be created automatically from the result of the first inspection and added to the route. The second time a route is downloaded the reference images will appear in the route.

Reference images enable guidance support, increase the quality of decision-making in the field and speed up data collection by defining a baseline for the user.

With Flir Assetlink it is also possible to use images from later inspections as reference images, to always ensure that there is a relevant reference image when assets change.

The camera can be configured to use the same measurement tools, measurement parameters, temperature scale values, and color palette as in the reference images.

Replace reference image

  1. Go to Asset library.

  2. Select inspection point.

  3. Click on the image and then on the pen that will appear on the enlarged image to update reference image.

  4. In the editing window, right-click on the image to be used as a reference.

  5. Select Replace reference image in the pop up menu.
